On the frontline: Alli
The RFDS' road transport teams are on the frontline of the fight against COVID-19. This is Alli's story.

Allison Cole works as part of RFDS Victoria's Mobile Patient Care team. While traditionally associated with planes, the vast majority of our 500+ crew work on the road, doing non-emergency patient transport across Victoria, Tassie and New South Wales.
You might see our teams, in partnership with Ambulance Victoria, responding to non-emergency triple 0 calls, getting patients to-and-from hospital or, in recent times, transporting confirmed and suspected cases of COVID-19.
While the nature of our work may have changed over the years, our ethos remains the same: connecting Australians with vital health care while showing care and compassion.
