Flying Doctor Patient Transport

In the air and on the road, RFDS Victoria helps people access the care they need through our non-emergency patient transport service.

We currently operate this service out of 22 road bases located throughout Victoria, New South Wales and Tasmania, with our aircraft based at Essendon Airport.

We provide a range of transport options for patients; including admission, discharge, medical appointments and inter-facility transfers across hospitals, rehabilitation facilities, specialist medical services, nursing and retirement homes.
